I have a rather large oak dining table that I like to keep clean. The problem is, it’s right by the front door, so it tends to become a catch-all for keys, mail, purses, wallets, you-name-it. My husband and I also have a lot of exposed wood in our home, and it needs to be cleaned. By me.
I have no idea where I got this recipe (if you know who developed this recipe, drop me a line and I’ll credit the author,) but it works wonders cleaning and polishing finished wood. Super easy to make and keeps forever in a small mason jar. Just dip a damp cloth into the finished product and apply evenly to whatever wood you’re cleaning and polishing. If you apply too much, just wipe off with a clean cloth!
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 capful Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner
Mix the 3 ingredients together in a small mason jar (like these ) and apply evenly to wood with a damp cloth.
